The press has finally given up whatever final shred of integrity they’ve been grasping on to and lost all credibility.  On November 20, it was revealed, in media sources in Europe that through the release of data obtained by hackers, that scientists had been falsely reporting temperature data to the UN in order to perpetuate the myth of man-made global warming.  As of December 2^nd, only FoxNews and Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart have reported on this in the States.  ABC, CBS and NBC have been strangely silent.   This isn’t some Enquireresque story that the networks are refusing to stoop to run.  This is a major scientific scandal that has rocked academia and changed the course of the climate debate in other countries.   Yet in this country the media and the government are all following the Goracle to Copenhagen to pledge their support for reducing carbon emissions, via more governmental controls.  And that’s really what it comes down to – governmental control.  And since ABC, CBS and NBC won’t touch this, you must ask, who really is controlling them.  If the Obama administration and the Kool-Aid drinking climate Nazis in this country have their way and we are stuck with a radical environmental policy that cedes sovereignty to an international body, the Jurassic Press will be complicit in undermining the Constitution and our freedoms.

If the Left had been so lucky as to have evidence released that Bush knew that there were no weapons of mass destruction, or had any other evidence dropped that undermined Conservatives, you better believe that they would run the story, whether the story is true or not (remember Rather?).  But we’re not asking them to run this story because it might be true.  Those involved have already admitted that the information released was accurate.   The schools involved, University of East Anglia in the UK and Penn State in the United States, are investigating their staff that were involved in the deceptions mentioned in the emails that were leaked.  Yet the press remains silent, for what reason?  So they can spend more time covering Tiger Wood’s marital indiscretion or spend more time rehashing Obama’s Afghanistan speech?  The Jurassic Press complains because they believe the new media are not true journalists.  Well if they would report the news, instead of trying to shield us from stories that don’t map to their delusional view of the world, there wouldn’t be a need for alternative media.
