Hard to believe, but several decades ago, Bob Hope figured out what Democrats were akin to - Zombies.

Many states have a three strikes law that puts away criminal offenders for life on their third serious strike.  In the states that have done this, such as California and Washington State, violent crime has gone down.  According to threestrikes.org, after 10 years on the books, crime in California dropped 32% while only 13% across the rest of the nation.

We need something similar for stupid political blunders – a three tries and you’re automatically impeached rule.  Three times since taking office (at least) Obama has made major political blunders that show just how out of step he is with the rest of the country.  First, despite massive voter disapproval, he signed into law the gargantuan healthcare bill.  Next his administration filed suit against Arizona for attempting to enforce existing federal laws around border security.  And most recently, this glowing example of ineptitude and ego, came out in in support of the Muslims’ rights to build a mosque at the site of the World Trade Center attack of 2001.

While no one disputes that they have a right to build, if the property is available and they have the funding, it is not appropriate.  Kind of like building a strip club next to an elementary school or liquor store next to a rehab clinic.  It doesn’t make sense and I’m sure New York could have passed some sort of law to that effect.  But Obama, in his infinite, superior genius, decided to weigh in in favor of allowing them to build (and got the political crap beaten out of him in the press for it).

Another thing that strikes me odd about his position is that he chooses to become Mr Law & Order over something so politically toxic.   Liberals are not exactly known for being the law and order type.  One of their mantras, as exhibited by the justices they force on the Supreme Court, is that the Constitution is a “living, breathing document” meant to change with the times, not a strict set of guidelines designed to limit government and its control over us.  So when the President goes off and talks about the rule of law in this particular situation (the rule being they have the right to build), it really makes you wonder whose side this clown is really on.  Obviously, from this and all of his other combined blunders, this man is not about the good of the nation.  I’m not even sure he’s about his own good, since he keeps making such asinine political mistakes.  Whoever’s side he is on, it is most assuredly not “we the people”.

So like I said, if we had a three strikes law for stupid politicians, Obama would be out of office now.  Even if we can’t get rid of him for another two years, at least we can toss a serious conservative wrench into his extremely progressive plans if we elect true conservatives in November.
